Tucked away on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast, the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge is a lush paradise where the jungle hums with life and time slows down to match the rhythm of the waves.
I went for a short barefoot hike through this vibrant reserve, dressed not in hiking boots, but in something far more me — a sexy olive-green bikini by Andi Bagus, a breezy white blouse, and my favorite woven straw hat.
The trail was a dream — dappled sunlight filtered through towering palms and tangled vines, lighting up the rich green undergrowth all around me.
The earthy forest floor felt warm and grounding under my bare feet, and every step deepened my connection with the wild magic of this place.
My Andi Bagus bikini hugged in all the right places — minimal, cheeky, and effortless.
The deep olive tone blended beautifully with the surrounding foliage, while the barely-there strings added a flirty touch that felt both adventurous and feminine.
Over it, I wore an open gauzy white blouse, flowing gently with the breeze as I walked, adding a touch of softness to the bold jungle vibe.
The cowgirl-style straw hat was not just a sun shield — it was a statement.
With its natural texture and wide brim, it gave my whole look a wild, free-spirited energy, like I’d just stepped out of a tropical western fantasy. And honestly? That’s exactly how I felt.
I paused along the way to breathe in the rich scent of the forest, admire the oversized leaves, and let the sunlight kiss my skin.
These are the kinds of hikes I live for — barefoot, bold, and deeply sensual.
It wasn’t about the distance covered. It was about the feeling — of freedom, wildness, and absolute presence.
So if you ever find yourself in Puerto Viejo, make time for Manzanillo.
Let your hair down, forget the shoes, wear something that makes you feel alive… and take a walk on the wild side.
With love and jungle magic,
Kathi 🌿
