There’s something deeply spiritual about getting lost in the Balinese jungle, where the only sound is the chorus of birdsong and the rush of cascading water.
On this day, I set out to explore the waterfalls tucked away in the heart of Ubud — not just for the photos, but for the feeling of being wild, grounded, and absolutely free.
The journey began as the morning light filtered through a thick canopy of palms and bamboo. I wore a soft sage green bikini — delicate yet bold — that blended perfectly with the lush surroundings.
Its strappy design felt like a nod to the natural vines around me, hugging my body like they were part of the forest too.
At the first waterfall, I climbed barefoot onto a moss-covered stone — its carved face hidden in the greenery like a secret guardian.
The water roared behind me, creating a curtain of silver mist that soaked the air.
I closed my eyes, breathed in the scent of earth and rain, and let the moment wrap around me like silk.
As I wandered deeper, I stepped into a sacred canyon where light poured in through narrow cliffs, creating ethereal rainbows in the mist.
The spray kissed my skin, and with every step I felt more alive.
The photos captured here — backlit by sunlight and veiled by waterfalls — are among my favorite ever. They’re raw, real, and full of movement.
I crossed bamboo bridges, stood still under sacred streams, and posed with the poise of a goddess but the soul of a jungle child.
My skin glowed, my hair danced with the breeze, and everything felt aligned — nature, spirit, and self.
This wasn’t just a photoshoot. It was a ritual. A return. A reminder that the wildest places often bring out our truest selves.
