Aqua Drift

On a quiet afternoon along Costa Rica’s Caribbean edge, where the jungle leans in close to the sand and the water stays warm long after the sun peaks, I slipped into this Andi Bagus set and let the rest of the day disappear. The Itty 2 Tone micro bikini in spirulina and watermelon red is almost nothing at all—tiny triangle cups that tie thin at the neck and back, a low T-back thong that sits barely there on the hips—and somehow that is exactly what made the whole moment feel bigger. The two tones catch the light differently with every turn: cool green against the leaves, bright red against my skin, both of them shifting as I moved between shade and open sun.

I walked barefoot where the path meets the shore, the fabric so slight it almost disappeared against the breeze. Every step reminded me how little was between me and the air, the sand, the occasional splash. I crouched near the water to watch the light change, stood with my back to the trees so the red strings framed the green, and stretched out on a warm rock until the heat soaked through. The set doesn’t try to cover much, and I didn’t ask it to. That honesty felt right out here, where nothing else is pretending either.

Andi Bagus always manages to make something this small feel intentional—handmade energy even in the stretch fabric, colors that belong next to fruit and foliage, ties that can be loosened or tightened depending on how bold the afternoon turns. I played with the angles, let the strings trail, and stayed longer than I planned simply because the combination of almost nothing and all this nature kept surprising me. The photos caught the quiet in-between moments: salt drying on my skin, leaves brushing my shoulder, the way the red and green looked like they had grown there.

Scroll through and you’ll see how little fabric it took to turn an ordinary stretch of coast into something that felt completely mine. Catch me where the jungle meets the tide. 🌴
