Tangerine Heat

Some beaches don’t need a name.

They don’t need a pin on Google Maps, a sign, or a crowd to prove they’re magical.

They simply exist — quietly, wildly, and perfectly hidden… like they were meant to be found only by the ones who truly feel the Caribbean.

This day on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica was exactly that: a secret stretch of sand where the jungle leans over the ocean, the trees grow low and twisted, and the light filters through the leaves like nature’s own spotlight.

No distractions. No noise.

Just warm air, salt on my skin, and the sound of waves folding into the shore.

This hidden beach felt untouched — the kind of place where the coastline curves gently, and the trees stretch outward as if they’re trying to protect the sand from the rest of the world.

The ocean was loud in the distance, but peaceful up close… and the shade from the thick tropical canopy made everything feel even more intimate. Under the trees, the light wasn’t harsh — it was golden, soft, and dramatic, like a natural filter you could never recreate.

One of my favorite details was the massive fallen tree laying across the sand, like a sculpture created by time and tide. It became the perfect backdrop: raw, organic, and very Caribbean.

There’s a specific kind of confidence that shows up when you’re completely alone with nature.

Not the “look at me” kind…

More like the quiet kind that lives in your posture, your eyes, your breath

These photos captured that feeling perfectly — me sitting on the tree trunk, leaning into the warmth, letting my hair fall naturally, letting the ocean breeze do its thing. Some shots feel fierce, others feel calm and dreamy, and some feel like I’m caught in a moment of thought, staring out toward the water like I’m listening to something only the sea can say.

And honestly? That’s exactly how it felt.

For this shoot, I wore one of my favorite combinations by Andi Bagus:

🍊 Orange tank top — minimal, sleek, and bold in the most effortless way.

🔥 Micro bikini bottom — tiny, daring, and made for sun-soaked beach days.

The color was everything.

Against the deep greens of the jungle and the muted sand tones, this bright tangerine orange looked like a flame — like I brought my own sunset into the shade.

It’s the kind of outfit that feels both sporty and sexy: simple lines, clean fit, and that confident island energy that Andi Bagus always nails.

To finish the look, I kept it natural and elevated — sun-kissed skin, loose hair, and a pearl necklace detail that gave it that subtle “editorial meets beach goddess” vibe.

Costa Rica’s southern Caribbean isn’t just beautiful — it’s alive.

It’s not the polished kind of paradise.

It’s the real kind.

The kind where the jungle is wild, the beaches are moody, the trees are dramatic, and every corner feels like a photoshoot location waiting to happen.

This is why I always come back here.

Because it’s not just a place you visit… it’s a place you feel.

And this hidden beach moment?

It’s one I’ll carry with me for a long time.

Pura vida,
