Papaya Picnic, Playa Grande

There’s something magical about the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica—especially at Playa Grande, nestled in the heart of Manzanillo.
It’s wild, free, and untouched—just like how I felt the moment I stepped barefoot onto that sun-kissed path, surrounded by lush jungle and the sound of distant waves crashing.
This little papaya picnic wasn’t planned—it was felt. I wore a shiny sapphire blue bikini top that sparkled under the golden light, paired with a flirty white textured mini skirt that danced with every breeze.
My necklace, chunky and iridescent, added a touch of island glamour, glistening against my sun-warmed skin.
The entire look blended perfectly with the tropical tones around me: the green of the jungle, the bronze of the sand, and the bright orange of the papaya I held in my hands like a treasure from nature itself.
One moment I was lying on a pink-patterned towel at the edge of the sea, soaking in the breeze, and the next I was wandering barefoot through the jungle trail—my skirt brushing against my legs, the gravel road grounding me with every step.
The papaya? Fresh-picked sweetness. I sat on a weathered wooden log, under the shade of beach almond trees, and shared a quiet moment with this fruit of the tropics.
Its vibrant color echoed the playful energy of the Caribbean coast—wild, juicy, and full of life.
This wasn’t just a photoshoot—it was a celebration of freedom, femininity, and flavor. Pure pura vida energy.
With love, Katherinne Rodriguez.
