Pink Lightning in the Jungle

The forest opened like a secret and I walked into it wearing the Lucky Cheeks pink micro bikini that feels less like clothing and more like a spell. Sunlight cut through the canopy in long golden blades, turning the air into something you could almost drink, and the little coral triangles and the jeweled hip chain caught every ray as if they had been waiting for this exact hour. The path was narrow, wet earth and fallen leaves under bare feet, green pressing in from both sides while I stood still with my eyes closed and let the light paint my skin. The top is barely there, two small triangles held by gold rings that sit against the collarbone like tiny suns, the bottoms a micro V that disappears between the cheeks and then reappears as a thin bright line, the gold chain with crystal circles resting low on the hips like it belongs to the jungle itself. I turned my back to the camera and the forest kept breathing around me, the tie of the top hanging loose between my shoulder blades, the thong sitting exactly where the light wanted to go. When I lifted my arms the whole body became one long line of warm skin and pink fabric, a silhouette the trees seemed to recognize. This bikini does not hide. It announces. It says look how little it takes when the light is this honest and the place is this alive. I did not need the ocean today. The jungle was already enough.
