Bali never stops surprising me, and my visit to Tanah Lot Temple was pure magic.
Known as one of Bali’s most iconic sea temples, Tanah Lot is perched dramatically on a rock formation along the southwestern coast of the island.
The energy of this place is ancient and powerful — you feel it the moment you arrive.
With the ocean crashing against the rocks and lush greenery spilling over the cliffs, every angle here looks like a postcard.
The skies that day were moody and dramatic, adding even more depth to the view.
The temple itself, with its traditional Balinese architecture and seaside serenity, is a true spiritual gem.
For this visit, I wore a vibrant yellow ribbed midi dress with a side slit that danced in the breeze.
The color popped beautifully against the volcanic rock and ocean backdrop.
I paired the look with a simple pearl necklace adorned with a dark stone charm — a touch of elegance that felt just right for the spiritual ambiance of Tanah Lot.
The sandals kept things grounded and comfortable, perfect for walking through temple grounds and along coastal paths.
From every perspective — walking the stairs of the shrine, posing in front of centuries-old gates, or looking out over the sea — the vibe was natural, grounded, and effortlessly radiant.
This spot isn’t just for the photos (although, yes, you will want a thousand of them).
It’s a place to feel the heartbeat of Bali — powerful, wild, and serene all at once.
