There’s something magical about being barefoot on the earth, under the shade of wild jungle trees, with the ocean just a whisper away. That’s exactly where I found myself recently—on a quiet beach on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, surrounded by lush green palms and the soft rustle of nature. Just me, my camera, and a peaceful vibe I couldn’t wait to share.
Wearing one of my favorite minimal looks—a soft olive bandeau top and a cheeky matching bikini bottom—I settled into the sand to shoot a series that feels raw, warm, and absolutely real. No shoes, no makeup, no filters—just sunshine on my skin, wind in my hair, and that glowing golden hour hitting just right.
Each photo captures a different facet of my energy that day—playful, sensual, strong, and soft. Whether I’m lounging with sandy toes pointed toward the lens, or looking directly into it with ocean-girl confidence, it was all about feeling present and powerful in my own skin.
This series was taken on a patterned sarong I love to travel with—it adds contrast, tells a story, and makes everything pop. You’ll spot little details throughout: my “K” necklace, red string bracelets, and traces of sand clinging to my feet, reminding me that grounding myself in nature is the best reset button.
